We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our Petwell House vets clinic in Hayes, Middlesex.
The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. The position is supported by a team of 3 competent veterinary care assistants with a background veterinary training and a full-time receptionist.
Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. We are also a registered training practice and this will allow you to mentor trainee veterinary nurses in the future once you fit into your role.
This is a full time permanent position, covering 40 per week although we can consider part-time depending on your qualifications and circumstances.

You should be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS. The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual and keen to help develop the practice standards and enjoy the variety that each day brings.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident in your own knowledge and have a great sense of humour. Nurse consults and clinics will be required in the future and day-to-day theatre and in-patient care are all important parts of the role. This role plays a key part within a small, friendly team so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible and a good team player.
