Veteris Twickenham 24 Hour Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is our out-of-hours emergency provider. They deliver dedicated critical care for pets and their owners whenever our practice is closed, and work closely with us to ensure continuity of care.
Their team of experienced emergency vets and nurses run a fully equipped 24-hour hospital in Twickenham with all of the diagnostic and therapeutic facilities required to handle any emergency.
The Veteris team includes RCVS-registered veterinary surgeons and nurses with advanced experience in emergency and critical care. Their hospital operates around the clock every day of the year, so an experienced clinician will always be available when our practice is closed.
We know it is not always easy to decide what counts as an emergency, but the most important thing is to stay calm. If our practice is closed and you think your pet may need urgent care, please call Veteris on 020 3808 0100. They offer free telephone triage, will help you decide how urgently your pet needs to be seen, and can advise if it is safe to wait until we reopen.

Consultation fees, procedures and medications at Veteris will vary depending on the time of day and the treatment your pet requires. Their team will always keep you informed of likely costs and any changes as the case progresses.
Telephone triage is free of charge — please call ahead so they can advise on urgency, expected fees and next steps.
Please do not take your pet directly to Veteris without calling ahead. Call 020 3808 0100 and their team will arrange for your pet to be seen or connect you to a veterinary surgeon straight away.
Veteris also offer out-of-hours emergency visits in the home for many situations. If your pet cannot easily be transported to the hospital, please let their team know when you call on 020 3808 0100 and they will advise on the best option, including an at-home visit where appropriate.
