Before you visit us

The team at Petwell House vets will be ready and waiting for your arrival, but before that please consider the following

Dogs

All dogs should be wearing a collar or harness with a lead, this is to help the team with handling the animal as well as ensuring the safety of your dog and others. Just because your dog is okay with others, doesn’t mean they all are.

Cats

All cats should be brought in with a cat carrier that is easy to remove the top and cover back up, this ensure the safety of your cat as well as helps them be a little less stressed in the clinic.

Others

 All other animals should be brought in a suitable container that has breathing holes and is easy to open and close.

Basic information

Please take note of the food you feed your pet, as well as their drinking habits and any ouy of the ordinary habits you may have seen. Anything, big or small, can help in diagnosis of your pet.

Previous vets

If this is your first time with us, please could you provide the details fo your previous vets, this allows us to gather their old history.

Documentation

For vaccinations appointments, please remember to bring your vaccination cards with you, this allows for an up to date record of all your pets vaccinations.

Photos of and videos of the behaviour if possible

Although it may be distressing, sometimes it is incredibly helpful for you to get pictures or videos of the behaviours or events your animal is undergoing.
